We have shared some very popular posts with ways to cover cardboard boxes so they can go from drab to fab. This fabric covered cardboard box is no exception.Covering a cardboard box has to be the cheapest way to add beautiful and functional decor and storage to your home. The first way we highlighted was how to cover a cardboard box with burlap, the second way was how to cover a cardboard box with jute twine, and this way might be my favorite…fabric covered cardboard boxes. The flowers that were added to this box really makes them pop and look like a store bought item instead of the cardboard box they once were. We shared a post on how to make fabric flowers yesterday too which would be a great accompaniment to these boxes. And really, because these cardboard boxes are covered with fabric you can choose any pattern you want and you could add any embellishment you like to either give a pop of color or simply match existing decor. To see how to make this beautiful fabric covered cardboard box check out the tutorial at the following link…it is excellent! (Also, the young lady that originally made these entered them in a contest…the link is on her blog…not sure if it is still an active contest but I’m sure she’d appreciate your shout out)
